Books worth reading.

Time and again.

Bright and Early Board Books

Bright and Early Board Books

Reading to an infant, even a very young one, has immense benefits for both child and parent.  Large picture books can feel too slow and be too awkward to hold when you are cradling a child.  We fell in love with these Bright and Early Board Books when our children were babies and they turned out to be sized just perfectly for toddler hands as well.

He Bear, She Bear

They tuck easily into a back pack, purse or diaper bag for reading on the go and the simple, rhyming text is what very young kids love (and need!) to hear.

Inside, Outside, Upside Down

There are some great concepts, prepositions and opposites, for instance, introduced in these short books.  They are the perfect little books to read during those "sponge-like" periods of language acquisition when kids are building their vocabularies exponentially.

Hand, Hand, Fingers Thumb

These last two were some of my boys' favorites, I bet I've read each of them 1000 times.  They are silly to read, easy and fun for kids to memorize as they get older and are sure to be favorites in any house with very young kids!
