Books worth reading.

Time and again.

The Kingdom of Wrenly

The Kingdom of Wrenly

Finding good chapter books for young readers can be a challenge. Content, book length, illustrations and even font are all important things to consider.  So often, one or more of these elements is off just enough to overwhelm young readers and they quickly lose interest and confidence. For young readers just beginning to tackle chapter books independently, The Kingdom of Wrenly book series by Jordan Quinn is just right.

The main characters are Prince Lucas and his best friend, Clara.

They live and play in Wrenly and their adventures are exciting and so suspenseful that your little one will likely not want to put these books down!

Each book contains a map of the kingdom for reference. This is such a great idea for helping kids practice seeing the story in their imagination as the action unfolds.

Illustrations are included throughout each book, which help the story take shape in the mind's eye and gives younger readers the use of picture clues to promote reading comprehension. The books are around a hundred pages long, divided into 10 or so chapters. The font is large and clear and I love this because it really helps younger ones get those pages turning; such a reinforcing, satisfying feeling!

These nice paperbacks would be a great addition to a home library for boys and girls alike, and would really be an asset in an early elementary classroom.

All of the stories in the series have not yet been released.

The fifth book in the series will be released October 7, 2014 and is available on Amazon for $5.39!
